The role of a general Contractor is one of
leadership and service in which Willson
takes full responsibility for the
construction project. General Contracting
typically follows a sequential process of
design, bid and build. A lump sum contract
based on completed design documents is
typical in this delivery method.
When using this apprach, Willson will
oversee the project organization, manage the
flow of materials and personnel, maintain
proper cost control, and ensure the project
is delivered on time in accordance with the
plans and specifications set forth by the
owner. When appropriate and beneficial,
Willson will self perform demolition
services, cast-in-place concrete, steel
erection, carpentry, general trades,
fixtures, dry wall finishing and painting.
